MOR-PRIME™ 10B
Morprime™ 10B adhesive is an organosol-type modified polypropylene dispersion. The organic solvent used to make the dispersion is a high boiling aliphatic hydrocarbon. Morprime™ 10B adhesive stratifies. Homogeneity can be restored and maintained by moderate stirring with an air-driven propeller mixer. Adheres metal substrates such as aluminum foil, steel, or copper to themselves or polypropylene. Requires high drying temperatures to remove the solvent and to fuse the Morprime™ 10B adhesive onto the metallic surface. Requires a thermal process to achieve bonding of the coated metal surface to itself or polypropylene.
The principal uses for Morprime™ 10B adhesive are in retortable pouches, formed food containers, both retortable and ovenable, packaging for medical devices and solutions, aseptically processed packages whichcontain aggressive products, and as adherent for aluminum foil lid stock to plastic containers which are made from polypropylene or polypropylene coextrusions.
Features & Benefits
Provides high bond strengths, excellent chemical resistance, and has the other performance properties generally associated with polypropylene.
