ADCOTE™ 40-51NEF

Adcote™ 40-51NEF is a modified polyester, heat seal coating. It is used in lidding applications where the coating is applied to untreated polyester film and then sealed to PVC, and uncoated or PVDC-coated HIPS containers. Best results are obtained with untreated polyester film surface energy levels of approximately 42 dynes/cm2.

Suggested Uses
Adcote™ 40-51NEF is suggested for use in lidding applications for food products where product resistance and high peelable bonds to HIPS are required.

Features & Benefits

Adcote™ 40-51NEF has exhibited peel values of 1200-1400 grams/inch at room temperature and 480-800 grams/inch at 0°F when applied at 3-5 lbs/ream. High product resistance and high peel strength.
