ADCOTE™ 76P1-38

ADCOTE™ 76P1-38 is a two-component laminating adhesive. It is designed for laminating combinations of polyester, polyamide, polypropylene, polyethylene, or nylon films to aluminum foil or copper. Typical laminations for which it is used are listed below.

  • Aluminum foil & polyester film
  • Aluminum foil & nylon
  • Aluminum foil & treated polyethylene
  • Aluminum foil & treated polypropylene
  • Copper foil & polyamide film
  • Copper foil & polyester film

Electric motor insulation is an ideal application for ADCOTE™ 76P1-38, where laminates that construct insulation of NEMA class H can be made. These laminates are typically made of PET and Nomex® materials. ADCOTE™ 76P1-38 is cured by using Coreactant F, resulting in an adhesive that provides excellent bond strength and heat resistance.

Features & Benefits

ADCOTE™ 76P1-38 offers outstanding adhesion to aluminum foil with high degrees of bond strength, age stability, thermal resistance, and chemical resistance. ADCOTE™ 76P1-38 is optically clear and provides heat, moisture, and UV resistance. This adhesive can also be applied in a variety of coating methods, such as gravure, smooth roll, and reverse roll.
