High Green Bonds

The term green bonds or off press bonds refer to the peel strength of the laminate immediately after lamination. This term is used most often with water based or solvent based adhesives. High green bonds help resist laminate tunneling in mismatched film tension situations and typically allow for faster next step processing. An example would be allowing a triplex or duplex lamination to be made sooner. High green bonds often give the converter "piece of mind" that lamination was made successfully.
